Jorge Lorenzo played a successful role in a 12-hour endurance event over the weekend at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina circuit.
Driving a Ferrari 458 GT3 Challenge Evo, the double MotoGP™ World title winner demonstrated his four-wheel skills once again to come out on top in the ‘Gentleman’ category of the event.
The Finali Mondiali weekend at the Yas Marina circuit turned into a huge celebration for all Ferrari enthusiasts and tifosi.
Aside from the opportunity to admire a stunning array of Prancing Horse cars designed specifically for the track, attendees also witnessed an impressive gathering of Ferraris from all over the Middle East.
Perez, Blancardi and Hanna do the double
It was a day of doubles in the Ferrari Challenge North America and the Asia Pacific series, which ended today at the Yas Marina circuit. The North American Trofeo Pirelli series was dominated this year by Mexico’s Ricardo Perez and today he was the clear winner ahead of Henrik Hedman and Marc Muzzo.

Also in Abu Dhabi, Pirelli will test its proposed 2015 tyres for the first time.
Sebastian Vettel will not be able to make his test debut for Ferrari in the days immediately after next month’s Abu Dhabi grand prix finale. Italy’s Omnicorse claims that, even though the Maranello team is yet to officially confirm that the German will be wearing red in 2015, it wanted Vettel to drive the F14-T at the post-Abu Dhabi test.
