The German venue returns in 2016 hosting a round for the FIM Superbike World Championship
As part of the 2016 WorldSBK calendar, Dorna WSBK Organization (DWO) is delighted to announce the partnership with Lausitzring in Germany. The circuit will host an official round of the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship with a signed three-year period (2016-2018).
The series to be broadcast in Brazil until 2018
Major sporting TV network ESPN Brazil has extended the agreement with Dorna WSBK Organization to broadcast the FIM Superbike World Championship for a further three-year period (2016-2018). The top production-based motorcycle racing series in the world will be viewable all over the Brazilian territory in both English and Portuguese languages.
The Italian venue will continue hosting a round of the FIM Superbike World Championship.

Progrip new Technical Supplier of the Superbike World Championship

Incredible final lap decides first podium of 2015
The opening race of the 2015 eni FIM Superbike World Championship was held in hot and sunny conditions at the Phillip Island circuit with Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) taking the opening victory of the year after a titanic 22-lap fight with Leon Haslam (Aprilia Racing Team – Red Devils) and Chaz Davies (Aruba Ducati SBK), who completed an all-British podium.
Davies and Haslam on the front row, Sykes and Guintoli in 8th and 9th place.
Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) will start the opening races of the 2015 eni FIM Superbike World Championship from Pole Position after successfully edging out fellow Britons Chaz Davies (Aruba.it – Ducati Superbike Team) and Leon Haslam (Aprilia Racing Team – Red Devils), who will join him on the front row.
