Red Bull will decide after its home Austrian grand prix this weekend if it will continue with Renault power into the future.
Red Bull boss Christian Horner has announced that the reigning world champions are staying with Renault power in 2015.
Red Bull is flirting with a change of engine supplier, according to reports on Wednesday.
Dr Helmut Marko has told Germany’s Sport Bild that the reigning world champion team will assess the progress made by current supplier Renault at the time of its home Austrian grand prix at the Red Bull Ring in June.
Carlin announces line-up
British team Carlin will enter a four car team powered by Volkswagen in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, following the reduction of the British Formula 3 Championship to four rounds. British racer Harry Tincknell will continue his relationship with the team and will be joined by Canadian racer Nicholas Latifi and British drivers Jann Mardenborough and Jordan King.
Volkswagen has played down reports it is making plans to enter formula one in 2015.
The German weekly Sport Bild said the Wolfsburg based carmaker giant was planning to enter F1 with Sauber, or even considering getting involved in chassis design at its state of the art Porsche Motorsport Centre in Weissach.

Sauber has not decided if it will stay with Ferrari power in 2014.
The Swiss team has expressed grave doubts about the increased costs of renting engines for the radical new V6 regulations in 2014. Before and after Sauber’s recent BMW era, the independent Hinwil based team was and is a longstanding Ferrari customer, but the current agreement runs only to the end of the V8 era.
