Timo Glock wins race at Spielberg on Sunday

For the third time in his career, Timo Glock was able to celebrate on the top step of the podium

Timo Glock, BMW M4 DTM In Sunday’s second DTM race at Spielberg in Austria, the BMW driver emerged as the winner. After 42 laps of the 4.326 kilometres long Red Bull Ring, Glock won from the two Audi drivers Mattias Ekström and Jamie Green, who finished second and third respectively.

Glock sets the fastest lap time in Spain

Glock the quickest – Götz once again the busiest

BMW were the dominators and winners of the seventh DTM weekend of the season, held at Oschersleben

In both races, the Bavarian’s celebrated a one-two-three-four, with a total of seven of their eight cars making it to the points. In addition, it was a very special race meeting for Timo Glock and Tom Blomqvist: on Saturday, Glock clinched the first pole of his DTM career to afterwards take the lead right at the start of the race and never lose it until he crossed the finish line as the winner. Glock claims his first-ever DTM pole position (+video)

For the first time in his career Timo Glock will be starting from pole position in a DTM race.

In qualifying for the 13th race of the season, the ex-Formula 1 driver secured the best starting grid position for the race on Saturday with his BMW M4 DTM.
