The 53rd Vermont Milk Bowl will be remembered for one of the great comeback wins in event history. 2013 Milk Bowl Champion Nick Sweet of Barre, VT entered the third and final 50-lap segment trailing three-time defending “King of the Road” Derrick O’Donnell of N. Haverhill, NH by five points.

Concentrating on running the American Canadian Tour this season, Emily Packard and the Northstar Fireworks/Packard Fuels team are looking forward to returning to Thunder Road this weekend to race in the 37th Coca-Cola Labor Day Classic 200.
Brad Babb came into the season looking for his first career American-Canadian Tour victory.
He and his Joey Laquerre–owned team earned it in perhaps the most dramatic way possible on Sunday, May 3. Babb took the lead from Scott Dragon with 18 laps to go and went on to win the Merchants Bank 150 at Barre, VT’s Thunder Road.

The 52nd running of the People’s United Bank Milk Bowl at Thunder Road in Barre, VT has been postponed due to forecasted rain. The entire weekend schedule from Friday, October 3 through Sunday, October 5 has been postponed and rescheduled for Friday, October 10 through Sunday, October 12.

Wayne Helliwell, Jr. of Dover, NH used a cross over move on Jimmy Hebert with about 15 laps to go to claim his first career Thunder Road win in the 16th annual Merchants Bank 150 on Sunday, April 27. Hebert held on for second while 17 year old Emily Packard came home third.
