Dixon tops opening practice in Toronto (+result)

Scott Dixon was quickest in opening practice for this weekend’s Honda Indy Toronto IndyCar street race, despite tangling with Takuma Sato at the end of the hour. Contact between Dixon and Sato at Turn 6 resulted in the KV car spin around in front of Dixon’s Ganassi Dallara and come to a halt blocking it. Simona De Silvestro impresses at 2010 IZOD IndyCar Series open test

Takuma Sato completed his first ever IRL test, he finished an impressive 6th place overall.

The 2010 IZOD IndyCar Series testing season got off to a positive start when Team Stargate Worlds/HVM Racing concluded a two-day Open Test at Barber Motorsports Park in Huntsville, Ala., with driver Simona De Silvestro.
