Rossiter to test Force India at Jerez

James Rossiter, a British driver in the FIA’s world endurance championship, will test Force India’s newly-launched 2013 car next week.

Giedo van der Garde’s hopes of finally breaking into formula one in 2013 have “shrunk”, according to the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.

That is the view of former Super Aguri driver Anthony Davidson, who now works as a television pundit for the British broadcaster Sky.

Caterham moves into former Super Aguri factory

Caterham has announced it will move into its new factory after this weekend’s Hungarian grand prix

Luca di Montezemolo has hailed Ferrari’s victory at Le Mans.

Le Mans 24 Hours – Update after 8 hours

F1 pundit Davidson in hospital after Le Mans crash

24 Heures du Mans2012-06-16_0025F1 television pundit Anthony Davidson is in hospital after a huge airborne crash during the fabled Le Mans 24 hour race. The 33-year-old former Super Aguri driver, whilst at the wheel of a Toyota hybrid prototype sports car late on Saturday, was taken to the medical centre after the incident involving a GT runner that was being lapped.

25 F1 drivers to tackle Le Mans this weekend

More than 25 drivers with formula one experience will be on the grid at this weekend’s 80th running of the fabled 24 hour Le Mans race.

24 Heures du MansAllan McNish  Audi 2 photo - DPPI  François FlamandNear the front, in the premier LMP1 prototype class, will be Allan McNish and Marc Gene, driving for Audi.  Scot McNish raced in F1 with Toyota in 2002, while Gene drove for Minardi and is still a Ferrari test driver. Toyota has since left F1 and for 2012 has entered Le Mans, and the Japanese marque’s number 8 entry is a grand prix-superteam featuring Anthony Davidson (Super Aguri), Sebastien Buemi (Toro Rosso) and one-off 1999 Minardi driver Stephane Sarrazin.
