47th Summer Endurance Suzuka 10 Hours confirmed for August 2018
Global GT racing promoter SRO Motorsports Group has joined forces with SUPER GT Series organiser GTA and Mobilityland to stage the first ever joint GT3/GT300 race. The 10-hour endurance event will take place at the world famous Suzuka Circuit in Japan on 23-26 August 2018.
Pirelli continues to supply new-look GT4 European Series exclusively, now including FFSA French GT Championship
Pirelli will return to the FFSA French GT Championship next year, as part of the new-look GT4 European Series, promoted by SRO Motorsports Group
The French series is part of an overall structure of regional GT racing throughout Europe, which forms the GT4 European Series. The GT4 European Series– which is split into the Northern Cup and Southern Cup, as well as an overall title – is organised and promoted by SRO, which is also behind the headlining Blancpain GT Series, where Pirelli has a long-term tyre supply agreement.

WC Vision announced today that SRO Motorsports Group owner and Blancpain GT Series CEO Stephane Ratel has been named to the WC Vision and the Pirelli World Challenge Board of Directors, as part of the SRO Motorsports Group becoming a shareholder in WC Vision.

Drivers and teams went to the limit in their efforts to score a good result, but in the heat of battle they sometimes went beyond those limits as well. This resulted in many a stewards’ decision and in some cases those infringements of the rules were sanctioned by a fine. All monetary fines were paid to the SRO Motorsports Fund.
