Australian Heading to Silverstone for Walter Hayes Trophy
The 2015 edition of the Spectrum International Scholarship Award will see Australia’s Scott Andrews cap an outstanding season of F1600 competition with a trip to race at the illustrious Walter Hayes Trophy hosted at Silverstone, England, 31st October to 1st November.

Tio Ellinas (Strakka Racing) has won the first race of the weekend for the Formula Renault 3.5 Series at Silverstone
On Saturday, the Cypriot claimed his first pole position and victory in the category. It is also the first triumph for his team since Will Stevens at Jerez last year. Oliver Rowland (Fortec Motorsports) and Matthieu Vaxiviere (Lotus) completed the podium. The Racing Steps Foundation driver now has a 29-point lead over the Lotus F1 Team Junior protégé.

Eighth in the overall standings, Tio Ellinas (Strakka Racing) claimed his first pole of the Formula Renault 3.5 Series season at Silverstone on Saturday morning, the Cypriot posting a lap of 1:41.858.

The Cypriot set the reference time of 1:41.494 to lead the way ahead of Red Bull Junior Team driver, Dean Stoneman (DAMS), the fastest rookie on Friday and Lotus F1 Team Junior protégé, Matthieu Vaxiviere (Lotus). Championship leader, Oliver Rowland (Fortec Motorsports) was fourth quickest. In the morning, Brazilian Pietro Fantin (International Draco Racing) was a top the time sheet.
