With a laptime of 1:48.922, the Kiwi put his Campos car at the top of the timings – 0.004s ahead of DAMS’ Oliver Rowland. GP3 Series 2015 Vice Champion Luca Ghiotto completed the top three at the wheel of the Rapax car.

With the red flag shown on the first lap and the damage being unable to be repaired in time the event was closed, and no points will be awarded.
