Koch, from Glendora, California, completed an event sweep and finished his dominant Lites 1 championship season with his 11th victory in 14 starts in 2015 on Friday, Oct. 2 at Road Atlanta. That win total ties the record set by Tristan Nunez en route to the championship in 2012.
The 2015 victory counter has ticked into the double digits for Kenton Koch.
Koch, 21, from Glendora, California, won Round 13 of the Cooper Tires Prototype Lites Powered by Mazda on Thursday, Oct. 1 at Road Atlanta in the No. 60 JDC Motorsports entry. He started from the pole and beat teammate Matt McMurry to the finish by 4.871 seconds.
