United Autosports finished second and third in the LMP3 class of the 2016 Gulf 12 Hours in Abu Dhabi (Saturday 17 December)
The team continued their run of podiums in 2016 when Alex Lynn, Shaun Lynn and Richard Meins brought their Gulf Marine liveried #23 Ligier JS P3 home in second place after 12 hours of racing round the Yas Marina circuit. Finishing in third place were Jim McGuire, Matt Keegan, Nico Rondet and former Formula One driver Stefan Johansson in the #22 Ligier JS P3.
Ex-Jackie Stewart March set to race in three-day extravaganza
United Autosports will be a star attraction at the Silverstone Classic next weekend (29-31 Jul) when the Anglo-American team parades an ex-British Grand Prix winning car and another rare machine that finished second at Silverstone in a non-championship Formula One race.
Former 24 Hour winner Brundle records stunning pole on Le Mans return
United Autosports scored an excellent podium finish in the Road To Le Mans when ex-Formula One driver and former Le Mans 24 Hour race winner Martin Brundle and Christian England swept their Ligier JS P3 sports-prototype to second position in France today (18 Jun).
Mike Hedlund and Guy Cosmo have joined United Autosports for the inaugural Road to Le Mans event on 18th June
United Autosports have sold their first Ligier JS P3 to a UK team, Tockwith Motorsport.
Tockwith Motorsport, based in North Yorkshire, will enter the inaugural Prototype Cup race at Snetterton on 8-9 October with Phil Hanson and Nigel Moore. They then intend to take part in the full 2017 Prototype Cup season, with their ultimate aim being a European Le Mans Series entry in the future.

Martin Brundle joins United Autosports for Le Mans LMP3 race
The former Formula One driver and current Sky F1 commentator will drive one of the team’s Ligier JS P3 cars in the hour-long race – a support event at the prestigious Le Mans 24 Hours on 18 June. Martin will coincidentally race the same Onroak Automotive manufactured chassis his son, Alex, drives in the European Le Mans Series – the car that won the team’s maiden ELMS race at Silverstone earlier this month (16 Apr).

UK-based United Autosports heads for the Circuit Paul Ricard in Southern France next week (22-23 Mar) for the official European Le Mans Series’ Prologue. United Autosports is embarking on its maiden ELMS season by contesting the ultra-competitive LM P3 category with a brace of brand new French-built Ligier JS P3 sportscars.
