Labbe uses bumper for Riverside win (updated)

Makes last corner pass on Lacroix for Pinty’s victory

It was fitting, perhaps, that the Bumper To Bumper 300 was determined by a bumper Sunday. Alex Labbe culminated a late charge to the finish with a bump-and-run pass on Kevin Lacroix, on the final corner of the final lap at Riverside International Speedway. Successful return for Leo Urlichich, winner of the 2017 Rallye Perce-Neige ! This event was welcomed for the 52nd time on the snow and ice-covered roads in and around Maniwaki, in the Haute-Gatineau (Outaouais) region of Quebec. Changes in the leaderboard were frequent but in the end, Ontario resident Leo Urlichich, co-driven by American Alex Kuhirani, took the honours in his brand new Production Class Subaru WRX STI. Jordan Szoke continued his mastery of Autodrome St-Eustache and the Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship at Autodrome St-Eustache on Saturday

2016-06-24_51178 Riding the Express Lane / Motovan / BMW Motorrad Canada BMW S1000RR, the Lynden, Ont. rider took the lead from Kenny Riedmann on lap 4 of 14 and went on to beat his Belfountain, Ont. rival by 2.474 secs. for his fifth straight win at Autodrome St-Eustache and his ninth consecutive Mopar CSBK win dating back to the start of last season.

2016-06-24_51369Reigning Mopar CSBK National Canadian National Superbike Champion Jordan Szoke of Lynden, ON, set the pace in the opening day of practice for the second round of the 2016 National tour at Autodrome St-Eustache, Quebec.  Aboard his 2016 Express Lane Motovan BMW S1000RR, Szoke turned a best lap of 45.4 sec around the eight turn, 1.93 km long road course at the Autodrome north west of Montreal, QC.
