Alex Tagliani set for Penske NASCAR Nationwide Series assignment!

First of two

Penske Ford Mustang no 22 Road America will be Alex Tagliani’s first of two scheduled appearances in the seat of the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang in 2014. After a merry-go-round of drivers, including Ryan Blaney, Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano, Tagliani will also make an appearance behind the wheel of the No. 22 Mustang at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in August.

Dixon tops opening practice in Toronto (+result)

Scott Dixon was quickest in opening practice for this weekend’s Honda Indy Toronto IndyCar street race, despite tangling with Takuma Sato at the end of the hour. Contact between Dixon and Sato at Turn 6 resulted in the KV car spin around in front of Dixon’s Ganassi Dallara and come to a halt blocking it.
