Japanese driver quickest on Day 3
Nobuharu Matsushita concluded his 2015 GP2 season top: the Japanese driver from ART Grand Prix set the fastest laptime overall on Day 3 of post-season testing with a laptime of 1:48.313. Nicholas Latifi (DAMS) and Sergey Sirotkin (PREMA Racing) completed the top three at Yas Marina Circuit.
Kiwi quickest on Day 3 morning session
Mitch Evans set the fastest laptime in today’s morning session at Yas Marina Circuit. With a laptime of 1:48.922, the Kiwi put his Campos car at the top of the timings – 0.004s ahead of DAMS’ Oliver Rowland. GP3 Series 2015 Vice Champion Luca Ghiotto completed the top three at the wheel of the Rapax car.
Canadian driver fastest overall at Yas Marina
Nicholas Latifi topped the second day of post-season testing at Yas Marina Circuit: at the wheel of a DAMS car, the Canadian clocked in a laptime of 1:47.860 in the final stages of the evening session. Norman Nato and Sergey Sirotkin completed the top three.

Successful Formula Renault 3.5 Series front-runner Nicholas Latifi will line-up on the GP2 Series grid with MP Motorsport this weekend, 25th/26th July, after wrapping up a deal with the podium finishing squad to contest the sixth event of the season at the Hungaroring and other selected GP2 races during the second half of the year.

Third overall, Matthieu Vaxiviere (Lotus) scored his second pole position of the season with a 1:58.768 finish.The Lotus F1 Team Junior driver posted the fastest time to beat out Dutchman Beitske Visser (AVF). The female racer then lost all her times for a non conformity on the checked position concerning the position of the flat bottom.

Nicholas Latifi has secured a seat at Arden Motorsport for the 2015 World Series by Renault FR3.5 Season. Nicholas joins Arden Motorsport having moved up from European F3, where he finished tenth with one podium and five top five finishes.
