PREMA Racing claim top spot on debut
Pierre Gasly emerged on top in a dramatic qualifying session this afternoon at the Circuit de Catalunya, grabbing his fourth GP2 pole (and third in a row) and the first for PREMA Racing on their series debut in the closing minutes to deny Norman Nato and Alex Lynn as the clock ticked down to zero.

Pierre Gasly claimed first blood in today’s free practice session in sunny Barcelona, leading the timesheets throughout most of the 45 minute session to take the honours in the first live session of the 2016 GP2 Series season ahead of Alex Lynn and Artem Markelov.
Large accident on first lap brought race to an early close
This afternoon’s sprint race at Yas Marina was cancelled due to substantial damage caused to the barriers after an accident on the first lap of the race. With the red flag shown on the first lap and the damage being unable to be repaired in time the event was closed, and no points will be awarded.
Facts for the final round of the season
The final round of the 2015 season takes place this week at the Yas Marina Circuit. Just a few days ago, newly crowned Champion Stoffel Vandoorne proved that his motivation was still running high: the Belgian ace qualified on the front row and then dominated the feature race from lights to flag.
ART Grand Prix take team title at Bahrain International Circuit
It was a glorious day for Stoffel Vandoorne and Nobuharu Matsushita as the pair finished first and second in today’s action packed feature race at Sakhir. With this result, the teammates gave ART Grand Prix the 2015 Teams’ title. Mitch Evans completed the podium.

Pierre Gasly enjoyed his second pole position of the season in a thrilling qualifying session at Bahrain International Circuit. The Frenchman from DAMS set a laptime of 1:39.572, 0.040s better than 2015 GP2 Champion Stoffel Vandoorne. Ferrari academy driver Raffaele Marciello finished P3.
