Peter Portante and Jenna Grillo are moving up the Formula Race Promotions ladder, and will race in the Atlantic Championship Series opening weekend at VIR, April 27-30, in a pair of K-Hill Motorsports Swift 016/Mazdas.

Formula Race Promotions (www.formularacepromotions.com) and ScreeningNow (www.screeningnow.com) have inked a production distribution deal to cover the 2017 season opening at the 17-turn three-mile course at Virginia International Raceway from April 29-30 where drivers will face off in the F1600, F2000, and Atlantic Championship Series.

Neil Verhagen, the 2016 F1600 Formula F Championship Series title winner, has made the FIA’s 20 under 20 list, published in the most recent edition of AUTO, the FIA’s magazine.

The closest finish came at New Jersey Motorsports Park, where Calvin Ming won by .001 seconds. Neil Verhagen won an exciting Friday evening F1600 Formula F Championship Series race at VIRginia International Raceway
