Debut Formula E year concludes for Panasonic Jaguar Racing in Montreal focus now shifts towards season four and new Jaguar I-TYPE

2017-07-29-1976Panasonic Jaguar Racing brought their debut season in FIA Formula to a close today in Montréal with both Jaguar I-TYPEs racing hard but ultimately missing out on further points.  Mitch Evans lined up P17 and Adam Carroll P19 after a difficult qualifying session with track temperatures noticeably warmer than yesterday.

Season’s best qualifying and more points for Panasonic Jaguar Racing in Montreal

Formula E – Hydro-Quebec Montreal ePrix

2017-07-28-1022Panasonic Jaguar Racing recorded their best qualifying session of the season and secured more valuable points in the first of two FIA Formula E races in Montréal, Canada.  Mitch Evans crossed the finish line in P7, elevating him two further places in the driver standings.  Adam Carroll finished in P16 following a strategic call, which went against the team.

GP2- Luca Ghiotto (Trident) 2015 GP3 Series vice champion Luca Ghiotto has grabbed his first GP2 win today at Sepang International Circuit: the Italian ace drove a mature race and survived pressure from Raffaele Marciello in the closing stages to cross the finish line ahead of his countryman. In third, Pierre Gasly reduced the gap to teammate Antonio Giovinazzi in the Drivers’ standings.

Pierre Gasly clocked a laptime of 1:42.181 on his first flying lap and on his first stint. He denied teammate Antonio Giovinazzi by 0.082s in what is PREMA Racing’s third front row lock out.
