Mike Conway will be commencing his 2017 campaign when he competes in the 24 hours of Daytona
Mike will be racing in the first round of the 2017 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with Action Express Racing in the #31 car, lining up with fellow Brit, Seb Morris and American’s Eric Curran and Dane Cameron. The race weekend gets underway on the 28th January 2017, getting behind the wheel of the Cadillac powered LMP2 car.
2017 is the year the new LMP2 regulations come into effect with teams now being able to choose to run a car from four chassis manufacturers, all powered by a single engine supplier which offers a significant increase in performance while at the same time reducing the running costs.
Nicolas Lapierre will return for a sixth FIA World Endurance Championship season and will defend his LMP2 title with the Signatech Alpine team
The Frenchman, who won the championship crown with Gustavo Menezes and Stéphane Richelmi in 2016, has been retained but his team mates have yet to be announced. With Californian Menezes being upgraded to gold status for 2017 the same trio will not be able to race together again LMP2 rules require that each car must have at least one silver or bronze-ranked driver.

The driver line-up combinations and the silver drivers selected by Rebellion will be confirmed in the near future
Rebellion Racing has announced that the team will enter two ORECA 07 Gibson LMP2 cars in the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship (*subject to admission by the Selection Committee), and also confirmed four of their six drivers for the campaign.
