Ecclestone to exit next week?

Bernie Ecclestone’s reign as F1 ringmaster could come to an end next week, it has been claimed.

2016-06-09_0599 According to Sky News, Liberty Media has offered him a “less hands-on role – with a title such as life president”. It also says that Chase Carey, who was appointed as F1’s new chairman at the end of last year, has lined up former ESPN executive Sean Bratches to run the commercial side of the sport, while ex-Ferrari and ex-Mercedes man Ross Brawn will have a “key role” on the sporting side.
