Luis Sa Silva to line-up with Zele Racing at Estoril

There will be a new face on the Auto GP grid for the final round of the 2014 season at Estoril.

Lining-up at the Portuguese circuit will be Angolan Luis Sa Silva, who will be behind the wheel of a Zele Racing car. Born on the 23rd of Agust, 1990, Sa Silva has been a part of the GP3 Series field in the last few season and will be at his first time behind the wheel of a 550-horsepower open wheel car like the Auto GP one. Kumho gives Euro Series teams a present

Since 2003, now, Korean tyre manufacturer Kumho has been the Formula 3 Euro Series’ exclusive tyre partner.

And just as it has been the case in the previous years, Kumho again rewards the good cooperation with the teams: on the forthcoming race weekend at Hockenheim (15th to 17th October), Kumho gives every team three sets of tyres per car that has contested the full season. Pirelli does not want F1 tyre rivals

Pirelli has clarified that it is not interested in competing in formula one with other tyre suppliers.

Michelin also wants to come back to formula one next year, and it has been rumoured in recent days that Pirelli might be willing to satisfy the French company’s desire to race against other tyre brands. Bridgestone is showing signs of performing a dramatic U-turn and staying in formula one beyond 2010.
