Gooden Wins at Mid-Ohio

Gooden took his second win of 2012 at Mid-Ohio

F2000 Championship Series logoWyatt Gooden took the win at Mid-Ohio, forcing his way by Robert La Rocca on a early-race restart. Championship leader La Rocca looked untouchable, on pole by a huge margin on top of Saturday’s runaway win, but failed to finish, getting wrapped up in a controversial incident with Tim Paul.

Another La Rocca F2000 win

La Rocca leads at Mid-Ohio

F2000 Championship Series logoRobert La Rocca held off a very brief restart challenge and led all 18 laps from pole, taking his eighth win of 2012 with ease, and extending what is already a massive Championship points lead in the F2000 Series. La Rocca won round nine of the 2012, 14-race season, in the No. 10 HP-Tech Van Diemen, finishing ahead of John LaRue and Wyatt Gooden.
