Taking the wraps off the new car that will defend the team’s colours in this year’s Formula 1 World Championship were the team’s drivers, Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne, with help from CEPSA Co-Chairman, Santiago Bergareche.

Drivers Kamui Kobayashi (25) and Sergio Pérez (22) unveil the Sauber C31-Ferrari at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit in Spain, where on Tuesday official Formula One pre-season testing will get underway. For filming purposes the C31 will cover its initial laps today.

Lotus GP3 Series – new season, new line-up.

In 2012, Lotus will defend its two GP3 Series titles with three new drivers.

Daniel Abt is the first of the trio the black and gold team has made official. The 19 year old German driver got to know the GP3 Series and Lotus during the interseason tests at Valencia and Jerez de la Frontera, where he had the best time of the last two days.

Pre-season Moto2 title favourite Toni Elías’ bid for glory in 2010 has taken an early knock, after it transpired that the Gresini (Moriwaki) star’s injuries from his accident on the final day of testing at Jerez de la Frontera two days ago are worse than initially thought – with double surgery having since been performed on the Spaniard.
