A successful season together in 2011 saw Prosource staff and guests go behind the scenes with the team at Silverstone, and Spa, as well as at the end of season final in Abu Dhabi where iSport were victorious. Having attended Prosource’s AGM in Aberdeen last year, iSport driver Marcus Ericsson commented: “I’m delighted Prosource will be with us again this year. Lotus GP driver ends final pre-season test with another fastest laptime
Esteban Gutiérrez set the quickest laptime again in today’s final pre-season test in Barcelona. The young Mexican set a laptime of 1:29.154 in the morning session ahead of last week’s fastest man in Jerez, Davide Valsecchi. In the afternoon session, it was Frenchman Tom Dillmann at Rapax who finished top ahead of Stefano Coletti.
Venezuela GP Lazarus driver quickest on day 1 of second pre-season testing
GP2 Series 2012 pre-season testing resumed this week at Circuit de Catalunya. Four new faces joined the field: Giancarlo Serenelli at Venezuela GP Lazarus, Ricardo Teixeira and Sergio Canamasas at Rapax, and Jon Lancaster at Ocean Racing Technology.
Italian ace remains top in Jerez
Davide Valsecchi confirmed his good form setting the quickest laptime of Day 2 in the 2012 pre-season testing in Jerez. The DAMS driver clocked 1:24.783 in the morning session and left the rest of the field with the task to find the extra pace to try and close the gap with the mighty Italian.

The GP2 Series paddock gathered in Jerez de la Frontera this week for the first of two official pre-season test sessions. After the winter break, the thirteen teams were eager to hit the track and get back to action. The field welcomed newcomers Venezuela GP Lazarus as the thirteenth team in 2012 and 2013.
Mexican ace dominates at Yas Marina Circuit
It was the perfect start to the 2011 GP2 Final in Abu Dhabi for Lotus ART’s Esteban Gutierrez. In the forty five minute long practice session, the Mexican crushed the rest of the field after he clocked in a best laptime of 1:50.458 in the first third of the session with his closest rivals unable to match his pace.
At the Yas Marina Circuit during the same weekend as the Formula One Grand Prix
Pirelli, the sole tyre supplier to the GP2 and GP3 Series, will bring its P Zero GP2 medium tyres to the 2011 GP2 Final in Abu Dhabi, a stand-alone event held at the Yas Marina Circuit during the same weekend as the Formula One Grand Prix (11-13 November). On this occasion, the Italian tyre manufacturer will reward the two top GP3 graduates competing against the GP2 regulars with a cash prize.

Christian Vietoris has held on against race long pressure from Fabio Leimer to claim his second victory of the season this morning in the sprint race at Monza: the German led his Swiss rival and Jules Bianchi from lights to flag in the final race of the 2011 GP2 season.
Italian delights home fans with win
Luca Filippi brought delight to the hearts of his countrymen with a lights to flag victory in this afternoon’s feature race at his home circuit of Monza: the Italian blew past poleman Charles Pic to lead home the Frenchman and his compatriot Romain Grosjean by over five seconds.
Frenchman claims top spot in Italy
Charles Pic has claimed his third pole position of the year, pipping local hero Luca Filippi to the post (and handing the Italian his fourth P2 in a row in qualifying) in this afternoon’s scorching qualifying session in Monza, with Fabio Leimer claiming third with a time which was just one tenth off pole.
