Free Practice 1: Regalia (FMS) takes top spot ahead of Cecotto (Virtuosi) and Pizzonia (Zele)
Facu Regalia, the Argentinian proved to be the quickest again during Auto GP Free Practice 2 at the Hungaroring. Series returnee Facu Regalia, 23 yrs old from Argentina, was the quickest on track during the first Auto GP Free Practice session at the Hungaroring – The South american (FMS Racing) stopped the clock at 1’36”121 getting ahead of second placed driver Johnny Cecotto jr.
A former Formula 1 star will be headlining the roster for the 2015 Auto GP Season starting on the 2nd and 3rd of May at the Hungaroring
Pizzonia (Zele Racing), Von Grünigen (Paolo Coloni Racing) join 2015 Auto GP ranks
Manaus-born Brazilian Antonio Pizzonia will be back in the series thanks to a deal with Austrian squad Zele Racing. The 34-year-old ace had already raced with the same squad last year, and led the pack in the 2015 preseason test held at Vallelunga. Pizzonia won the 2000 British F.3 Championship before moving to F1 with Jaguar and BMW-Williams. He will form an all-South American duo with Colombian.

On Friday and Saturday this week (3 and 4 October), endurance race teams and drivers from all over the world will get together at the Hungaroring for the Hankook 12H HUNGARY, the round-the-clock-race for GTs, touring cars and 24H Specials.
Winner at Monaco, Norman Nato (DAMS) did it again at the Hungaroring.
Sunday, the French driver put in a perfect start to get the better of pole man Roberto Merhi (Zeta Corse) and went on to take his second victory in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series. Red Bull Junior Team driver, Pierre Gasly (Arden Motorsport) completed the podium.
