Ferdinand Habsburg has claimed the top spot for day 3 of the 2017 post-season GP3 Series test at the Yas Marina Circuit, stopping the clock at 1:54.869 in the morning session by over a tenth from teammate Jehan Daruvala and Nikita Mazepin and ensuring newcomers MP Motorsport topped all 3 days of the test, while Jake Hughes led throughout the afternoon session with a time of 1:55.578, less than a tenth ahead of Niko Kari and Daruvala. Kari tops day two of Yas Marina testNiko Kari continued where he left off yesterday by setting the pace once again on day 2 of the 2017 post-season GP3 Series test at the Yas Marina Circuit, stopping the clock at 1:54.733 this morning and beating his best time from yesterday by 0.2s and lead the way from Leonardo Pulcini and Giuliano Alesi by almost four tenths in the session, while Leonardo Pulcini claimed the honours this afternoon with a time of 1:55.210 by two tenths from Callum Ilott and Nikita Mazepin.

George Russell pulled out a champion’s drive in this afternoon’s qualifying session at the Yas Marina Circuit: the Briton defied the difficulty of jumping from GP3 to F1 with Force India and back today with a stunning last lap to claim his fourth pole position of the season (and rounding out 2017 by ensuring that ART Grand Prix grabbed every pole of the year) by three tenths from Arden International teammates Leonardo Pulcini and Niko Kari.
