Multiple Formula 1 grand prix winner David Coulthard put in a stunning performance to eclipse 15 fellow stars of motor sport and win the Race Of Champions on a thrilling afternoon of action and entertainment at Bushy Park Barbados.
ROC 2014 in Barbados will be the 26th annual end-of-season Race Of Champions since its first event in Paris in 1988.
Bushy Park Barbados is ROC’s first host venue in the Americas – and the 11th overall – along with such prestigious host venues as London’s Wembley Stadium, the Stade de France in Paris and Beijing’s ‘Bird’s Nest’ Olympic Stadium.
Next season made of eleven support events of Formula OneTM World Championship
The 2015 GP2 SeriesTM calendar was confirmed today and will once again consist of eleven rounds in total, all support events of the Formula OneTM World Championship. Just as in 2014, eight rounds will be held in Europe with three overseas events to complete the calendar.

American motor sport superstar Robby Gordon will compete at the 2014 Race Of Champions, to be held at Bushy Park Barbados on December 13-14. But Gordon’s not travelling to Barbados alone: he’s bringing his stunning Stadium Super Trucks, which will also feature in the racing action.
As I get this blog together, I’m sitting in Dubai Airport waiting to get on a plane, and I cannot wait to get home!
I’ve been away for two weeks in Abu Dhabi – two weeks that have been right up there as the most eventful and special of my career. First of all I wrapped up the GP3 title last weekend, then on Wednesday afternoon I had my first track-test of a Formula 1 car in a Lotus-Renault, and finally on Friday and Saturday I tested in GP2.
