Andres Mendez joins Zele Racing in Auto GP

Colombian driver Andrés Méndez will join Zele Racing for the 2015 Auto GP season.

Auto GP logo The 22-year-old from Bogotá, whose father and grandfather were both racing drivers, began kart racing in 2008. Former F1 driver and Le Mans winner Allan McNish discovered the teenager, and he was selected to join the Ferrari Driver Academy.

On Tuesday the 30th of October the Brazilian André Negrão and Canadian Gianmarco Raimondo will be in the Spanish team’s cars and on the following day, Wednesday the 31st, it will be the turn of Dutchman Nigel Melker and Argentinian Facundo Regalia.
