No more new teams will join Haas on the Formula 1 grid next season, the FIA has announced. Applications for prospective new teams to join the sport in either 2016 or 2017 were opened in May, with the original deadline set for the end of June, before later being extended to the end of July. Two teams submitted plans, but neither made the grade.
