Final 2014 Meeting, Madrid (ESP) 23 December
The Superbike Commission, composed of Messrs Javier Alonso (WSBK Executive Director), Ignacio Verneda (FIM CEO) and Takanao Tsubouchi (MSMA Representative), met at the Dorna Headquarters in Madrid on 16 December 2014 in the presence of MM Daniel Carrera and Gregorio Lavilla (WSBK-Dorna), Scott Smart and Paul Duparc (FIM).
Pirelli confirmed as Official Tyre Supplier for the eni FIM Superbike World Championship for the 2016-2018 seasons
The agreement confirms Pirelli in its current role of sole tyre supplier for all the classes
Dorna WSBK Organization, promoter and organiser of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship, in agreement with the FIM, the International Motorcycling Federation, is pleased to announce that Pirelli has been confirmed as the Official Tyre Supplier of the series, having won the tender scheduled from Monday 28 July to Monday 25 August 2014.
The application for the tender procedure can be submitted starting from Monday 28 July
Dorna WSBK Organization, in agreement with the FIM, announce the open call for tender for those companies willing to be the sole tyre supplier of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship from 2016 onwards, as the agreement with the current tyre supplier will expire at the end of 2015.
Decision of the Superbike Commission
The Superbike Commission, composed of Messrs Javier Alonso (WSBK Executive Director), Ignacio Verneda (FIM Executive Director, Sport) and Takanao Tsubouchi (MSMA Representative), met at Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit on 12 June in the presence of Messrs Daniel Carrera (WSBK Championship Director) and Gregorio Lavilla (WSBK Sporting Director ).

Canadian Motor Speedway administration has been full throttle over the winter months into the spring, moving ahead on a critical path that includes hiring architects to work with its engineers to formulate a final CMS site plan for submission and approval this summer.
On 8 April, FIM and Dorna WSBK representatives visited the Bimota plant in Rimini, Italy.
The purpose of this visit was to meet the new proprietors of the Italian manufacturer and to verify that the production procedure is going ahead smoothly with a view to obtaining the required FIM homologation for the motorcycle to take part to the eni FIM Superbike World Championship.
