The Series is coming off two strong weekends at VIR and Mid-Ohio, with no lack of drama at the front of the field.
Off five straight wins, Sam Beasley comes charging into the new 2.8-mile, 18-turn Pittsburgh International Race Complex for rounds nine and 10 of the F2000 Championship Series season looking to further extend his points lead.
With Quinlan Lall stalled sideways on the race track, a fast-moving David Grant had little time to react, and Lall even less time to wait for the impact. Spectrum front to Van Diemen side, with Grant flicking the steering wheel just enough to send the impact to the rear portion of Lall’s car.
The fourth weekend of the F2000 Series will run July 2-5 starting with Thursday evening testing
Coming off an odds-defying charge through the field in June at VIR, Sam Beasley controls the F2000 Championship Series points race at the mid-point of the season on four victories. The Ohio native now returns to his home track this weekend at Mid-Ohio for rounds seven and eight of the season, where he hopes to extend his points lead over David Grant and Steve Bamford.
