F1 in Schools World Finals 2016 Podium The F1 in Schools World Finals 2016 was won by a student team from Athens, Greece, tonight, with Infinite Racing from Mandoulides School, taking the World Champions crown and lifting the famous Bernie Ecclestone World Champions trophy, the first team from Greece to be on the World Finals podium. Australia set a new world record at F1 in Schools World Finals 2016

The Australians took the first spoils of the 12th F1 in Schools World Finals being held in Austin this week

Infinitude from Australia celebrate a new F1 in Schools World Record Inifinitude, a collaboration of 15 and 16 year old students from Brighton Secondary School, Adelaide and St. Bede’s College, Melbourne, blitzed their rivals on the track yesterday, smashing last year’s World Record time with an impressive race time of 0.916 seconds more than two hundredth of a seconds faster than the second quickest team. England F1 In Schools world finals team claim new world record

The record-breaking run was not without controversy
Colossus F1 break the F1 in Schools world record with a time of 1.003 seconds Colossus F1, an F1 in Schools team representing England at the 2014 F1 in Schools World Finals this week in Abu Dhabi have claimed a new world record with the team’s car sprinting along the F1 in Schools 20 metre race track in a time of 1.003 seconds, shaving nearly two-hundredths of a second off the previous record, 1.020 seconds, held for seven years by Northern Irish team, TEAM FUGA.
