Intrepid makes its return to the ECKC this week at Mosport.
When the fifth Eastern Canadian Karting Championship begins this week at Mosport International Karting the team from Goodwood Kartways will be on hand over twenty strong and set to resume a record-setting era in team history. With Intrepid back in the team fold for 2014, Goodwood Kartways will definitely be in championship contention across the board.

For the second straight event, IPK North America had a very strong showing in Eastern Canadian Karting Championship competition as it once again sent seven different drivers to the podium, this time in six different classes and in both two-cycle and four-cycle categories.

As its 2013 season continues to take shape, the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship has news today that four-stroke racing will be back on its tracks this summer and organizers are once again firmly behind the Briggs & Stratton LO206 platform. Already well known in North America for producing the most competitive Rotax Max Challenge summer series, organizers are now looking to continue developing their four-stroke classes as well.

Intrepid North America was back racing close to home over the weekend as the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship made its second visit to Ontario for races four and five. Mosport International Karting was the venue for the doubleheader, and fifteen Intrepid North America team members were in action scoring two more wins and nine more podiums.

The overwhelming jewels of the 2011 Eastern Canadian Karting Championship awards package were trips to the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals for class champions in Junior, Senior and DD2. Following that came an incredible opportunity to be among a very select few to attend the Mazda Road to Indy Scouting Combine. As one event draws to a close this weekend, the other will be getting set to begin, and it’s a fact that had ECKC officials with a dilemma on their hands just a few weeks ago.

Once again one of the most productive teams in the paddock, this time out Intrepid drivers added season-long podiums and championships to their customary race wins.
