It was a contrasting two days of testing at Donington Park for Robin Frijns. The Dutchman didn’t manage any running on the penultimate day with the Andretti team but covered 37 laps following the switch to the season one powertrain for the final test day.

Abt Schaeffler first team to break 1:31s barrier at Donington
Daniel Abt set a new Formula E lap record as testing resumed at Donington Park. The Abt Schaeffler driver used the full 200kw qualifying mode to record a lap of 1:30.250, comfortably quicker than Sebastien Buemi’s previous best of 1:31.050s, set on the final day of last week’s test.
Englishman’s life no longer in jeopardy as recovery continues at home
Kieran Clarke suffered a track day accident at Donington Park in late May and is now at home recovering from his injuries. The Nottingham based racer had scored his first World Supersport Championship point of the season the weekend before at the same track in the UK round of the series. He is now facing a period of recovery and sends this personal message to the CIA Landlords Insurance Honda team followers. Clarke will be replaced at Misano by the 20-year-old, World Supersport debutant Kevin Manfredi.
Sykes does the Donington double for third time in a row

Debut victory for Dixon at Donington Park
The PBM Kawasaki Racing Team opened their 2015 MCE British Superbike Championship season in fine style at Donington Park today with reigning champion Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne taking a win and a second place to take an early championship lead with team-mate Stuart Easton securing a podium place also.
