Felix Rosenqvist (Prema Powerteam) won the second race of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship at the 4.684 kilometres long Autodrómo Internacional do Algarve and took over the lead in the drivers’ standings from Antonio Giovinazzi (Jagonya Ayam with Carlin), who finished eighth in the 26th race of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship season.

The four constructors are: Dallara (Italy-United States), Onroak Automotive (France), Oreca (France-United States) and the joint-venture Riley Tech/Multimatic (USA, Canada and the United Kingdom), subject to validation of the regulations by the World Motor Sport Council on 10th July.
