CTCC confirms GT Cup Class in 2018

CTCC presented by Pirelli today confirmed the addition of GT Cup class to its categories, beginning in 2018

2017-08-12_0122This new GT Cup class will be comprised of ultra performance race cars such as the Chevrolet Corvette, Dodge Viper, Ferrari 430/458, Nissan GTR and Porsche 991/997 GT3.  GT Cup class race cars will compete on the track concurrently with the existing Touring, Super Touring and GT Sport classes. Nathan Blok returns to CTCC

“I am very pleased to make a return to CTCC competition this year.”

2017-05-20-1135Nathan Blok, the 23-year old, Canadian Formula 2000 Champion and two-time Formula Tour Series Champion switched gears to return to the Canadian Touring Car Championship. The two races were part of the Victoria Day Speedfest Weekend on May 19 – 21, 2017 on the fast and challenging Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Chris Sahakian increases his lead in the CTCC championship, Top 10 in Nissan Micra Cup

Chris Sahakian climbed on the third step of the podium twice in CTCC while Ashley Sahakian finished the race as 3rd rookie.
