A video has emerged that clearly depicts Sebastian Vettel overtaking under yellow flag conditions during Sunday’s Brazilian grand prix.
Sebastian Vettel managed even to impress the Ferrari-loving Italian press with his historic race through the field in Abu Dhabi.
“The German is unmatched,” said Corriere dello Sport. “He showed all his talent that had been hidden behind his superior Red Bull,” the newspaper added, referring to Vettel’s climb from dead last in the pitlane to third at the flag. “He is a driver on a par with Alonso and perhaps even beyond.”
Flavio Briatore thinks Ferrari should sign Felipe Massa for another season.
The Italian team is openly undecided over its choice of teammate for Fernando Alonso next year, but former Renault boss Briatore said: “I would keep Massa for another year”. “Massa is a good driver but he should never compare his times with those of Alonso,” Italian Briatore is quoted by Corriere dello Sport.”

A reportedly “furious” Ferrari has hit back at Red Bull, after the reigning champions suggested the famous Italian team broke the rules “for a year”. Frustrated with the constant technical controversies involving Red Bull in 2012, the team’s Dr Helmut Marko said this week that actually “Ferrari used something like that for a year”.
Ferrari has made a “devastating start” to the 2012 season, the Italian sports newspaper Corriere dello Sport has blasted.
“The new season could barely have begun worse,” said the report. Felipe Massa qualified sixteenth for Sunday’s Australian grand prix, while Fernando Alonso also failed to make the ‘Q3′ cut when he spun into the gravel.
Ferrari has set to work to fix a problem at the rear of its troubled F2012 car, Italy’s Autosprint reports.
The report said initial winter testing highlighted problems with the car’s exhaust solution, prompting Pat Fry to order the outlets be moved inwards. This, however, left the homologated portion of the chassis that housed the original exhausts intact, with modification to require a new FIA crash test.
