The first laps of the fifth DTM race weekend of the 2016 season are in the books

The fourth round of this year’s 24H SERIES powered by Hankook and the third running of the race in The Netherlands again assembles a wide variety of GTs and touring cars. Blancpain Sprint Series – Zandvoort Round – Main Race
Sudden rain and rare mistakes from some of the top drivers turned the main race of the third round of the Blancpain Sprint Series at Circuit Park Zandvoort into a spectacular affair. In the end René Rast and Enzo Ide, driving the #2 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT Audi, took top spot, just holding off the Series newcomers Dominik Baumann and Thomas Jäger in the #76 BMW Sports Trophy Team Schubert BMW. Dutchman Jaap van Lagen took third, at the wheel of the #21 Tonino Team Herberth Porsche he shares with Robert Renauer.

Felix Rosenqvist (kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport, 1:30.839 minutes) was unbeatable in qualifying for this weekend’s RTL GP Masters of Formula 3 at the 4.307 kilometres long Circuit Park Zandvoort and claimed pole position in a dominant way.

This weekend, the tradition-rich ‘RTL GP Masters of Formula 3’ is going to lure the best European Formula 3 drivers to the Dutch North Sea coast. At the 4.307-kilometre Circuit Park Zandvoort, they all will try to become the successor of Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport).

Marco Wittmann (Signature) claimed victory in the third race of the Formula 3 Euro Series at the 4.307 kilometres long Circuit Park Zandvoort, making the German the first driver to win a race for his team Signature this year.
