GP2 - Norman Nato (Racing Engineering) Frenchman Norman Nato concluded this week’s second pre-season testing at the top of the timesheets: he lapped the Spanish track in a 1:24.518 ahead of Arthur Pic and Nobuharu Matsushita. Rapax driver Pic was quickest in the afternoon session.

Norman Nato tops Day 1 session at Jerez

Racing Engineering man leads the way in second GP2 pre-season test
GP2 - Norman Nato (Racing Engineering) The GP2 Series field is back on track this week for the second 2016 pre-season test session at Circuito de Jerez, Spain. The paddock was greeted by blue skies but cold temperatures. When the pitlane turned green, it was Alex Lynn who fed onto the track first but he was closely followed by his teammate Nicholas Latifi and the rest of the pack.

PREMA Racing’s driver quickest in morning session

GP2 - Pierre Gasly (PREMA Racing) Red Bull protégé Pierre Gasly concluded this week’s pre-season testing on top of the timesheets: he lapped the Spanish track in an impressive laptime of 1:27.386 during this morning’s session ahead of Norman Nato and Antonio Giovinazzi. Rapax driver Gustav Malja was quickest in the afternoon session.

GP2 - Barcelona The 2016 GP2 Series officially kicks off tomorrow with the first test session of the year at the Circuit de Catalunya in Spain. Teams and drivers have gathered for three days, from Wednesday 9th to Friday 11th, in order to prepare for the twelfth season in the category which will open on May 13th in Barcelona, alongside the Formula One Grand Prix. With a laptime of 1:48.922, the Kiwi put his Campos car at the top of the timings – 0.004s ahead of DAMS’ Oliver Rowland. GP3 Antonio Fuoco (Trident) Trident tester and Ferrari Academy Driver Antonio Fuoco was quickest overall on day two of post-season testing at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. His best laptime of 1:55.135 was 0.058s faster than Arden International’s Jake Dennis in the morning session. GP2 - Sprint race cancelled due to barrier damage This afternoon’s sprint race at Yas Marina was cancelled due to substantial damage caused to the barriers after an accident on the first lap of the race. With the red flag shown on the first lap and the damage being unable to be repaired in time the event was closed, and no points will be awarded.

Palou takes maiden win as Ocon is crowned 2015 GP3 Champion

Campos Racing rookie victorious as ART GP’s Ocon grabs GP3 title in Yas Marina
GP3 - Alex Palou (Campos Racing) On top of the world! ART Grand Prix and Mercedes junior Esteban Ocon clinched the GP3 crown today at the season finale in Abu Dhabi by finishing in third place, to take the title by eight points from Trident’s Luca Ghiotto. It was also celebration time for Campos Racing rookie Alex Palou who pocketed his debut GP3 win ahead of Carlin and Ferrari Academy Driver Antonio Fuoco.

Belgian wins again in Abu Dhabi
GP2 - Raffaele Marciello, Stoffel Vandoorne, Mitch Evans Stoffel Vandoorne has handed his team the perfect leaving gift by closing out his championship winning season with victory in the final feature race tonight in Abu Dhabi. His seventh win of the year also claimed the record for most wins in a season, to his obvious delight as he celebrated on the podium alongside Raffaele Marciello and Mitch Evans.

GP3 - Kirchhofer, Bernstorff & Eriksson The fight for the GP3 crown will be decided tomorrow at the season finale in Yas Marina! ART Grand Prix’s Esteban Ocon led the race from start to finish but the Frenchman was given a five second time penalty for exceeding track limits and gaining and advantage on lap one.
