Kevin Lacroix surges late for ICAR victory

Makes move on last restart to claim NASCAR Pinty’s Series Second win of 2017

2017-07-08_0580A late caution set up an overtime opportunity for Kevin Lacroix, and he pounced. The 28-year-old driver out of Saint-Eustache, Quebec, used the extra laps Saturday evening to go take the lead and hold off a charging Andrew Ranger to the checkered flag of the Ecko Unlimited 75 at Circuit ICAR.

GP3R: Ranger takes Trois-Rivieres pole

Ranger earns his first Toronto pole position in NASCAR Canadian Tire

For Saturday’s Jumpstart 100 at Exhibition Place

Andrew Ranger already had a few NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 firsts in his pocket and now he has another by winning the pole position in the series’ inaugural visit to Toronto. The Roxton Pond, Que., driver earned the right to start on the pole for Saturday’s Jumpstart 100 at Exhibition Place. Kennington wins a wild one in St-Eustache (updated, + photos)

Late pass produces second win of Canadian Tire season By Shon Sbarra, NASCAR

Kennington passed Scott Steckly on the final lap of the Lucas Oil National 250 – just moments after Steckly had taken the lead away from Kerry Micks – and picked up the victory Saturday at Autodrome St. Eustache.
