A former Formula 1 star will be headlining the roster for the 2015 Auto GP Season starting on the 2nd and 3rd of May at the Hungaroring

Pizzonia (Zele Racing), Von Grünigen (Paolo Coloni Racing) join 2015 Auto GP ranks

Auto GP logoManaus-born Brazilian Antonio Pizzonia will be back in the series thanks to a deal with Austrian squad Zele Racing. The 34-year-old ace had already raced with the same squad last year, and led the pack in the 2015 preseason test held at Vallelunga. Pizzonia won the 2000 British F.3 Championship before moving to F1 with Jaguar and BMW-Williams. He will form an all-South American duo with Colombian. Read the rest of this entry »

Auto GP starts a new era at Vallelunga

With the running of a 2-day test on March 2nd and 3rd at Vallelunga, the new era of Auto GP will officially open, featuring the unification between Dutch company ISRA and the organization led by Enzo Coloni.

Andres Mendez joins Zele Racing in Auto GP

Colombian driver Andrés Méndez will join Zele Racing for the 2015 Auto GP season.

Auto GP logo The 22-year-old from Bogotá, whose father and grandfather were both racing drivers, began kart racing in 2008. Former F1 driver and Le Mans winner Allan McNish discovered the teenager, and he was selected to join the Ferrari Driver Academy.
