No sign of Ecclestone yet as prosecutors race on

Bernie Ecclestone has not been seen at Hockenheim so far, raising suggestions he is afraid of arrest.

Sponsor logo added to F1 safety car

The logos of German insurance group Allianz are adorning the formula one safety car in the Singapore pitlane.

In fact, the deal – announced by Bernie Ecclestone in Singapore on Thursday – is the first ever sponsor branding deal for the sport’s safety and medical cars, provided by Mercedes-Benz. Allianz to sponsor Mercedes in F1 – report

Mercedes GP looks set to secure another sponsor.

AllianzThe German source sponsors.de reports that Allianz, the Munich based global insurance group, will soon be added to the livery of the Silver Arrows.
