Title chaser victorious in Sochi as Vandoorne finishes third
Alexander Rossi came out victorious in today’s eventful and shortened feature race at the Sochi Autodrom: the American whose goal was to finish ahead of Series leader Stoffel Vandoorne in order to keep his title hopes alive put in a skillful drive to win in spite of a red flag period and a tricky race strategy in only 15 laps. Frenchman Pierre Gasly split the fighting pair on the podium to take second place.
American passes Vandoorne for win in feature race
Alexander Rossi came to Monza this weekend to peg back Stoffel Vandoorne’s lead in the drivers’ championship, and this afternoon he did just that: the American trailed the McLaren test driver for lap after lap before blasting past on lap 23 en route to a storming victory in today’s feature race from Vandoorne and Mitch Evans.
Status Grand Prix driver sets fastest laptime on Day 3
The final day of the pre-season testing at Yas Marina opened once again in windy conditions. Alexander Rossi was the first driver to feed onto the track, closely followed by teammate Jordan King, but it was Stoffel Vandoorne who was the early pace setter.

Stefano Coletti achieved a life’s ambition by winning today’s sprint race in Monaco, looking untouchable on his home circuit as he handled the changing conditions better than his rivals while controlling his pace to easily lead home Adrian Quaife-Hobbs and Mitch Evans.
Caterham Racing driver quickest in rain affected session
Day two of the first post-season test session opened this morning at Circuit de Catalunya on a very wet track with rain pouring down incessantly. It took a while before the first drivers braved the tricky conditions in order to do their installation laps. Kevin Ceccon at Ocean was the first one to feed on to the track, but it was Sergio Canamasas at Lotus GP who set a first laptime albeit a pretty slow one compared to yesterday’s best time.

Having driven a superb race, Kevin Magnussen (Carlin) seemed on course to claim his second win of the season in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series. However, on the final lap, the Dane was forced to stop his car following a gearbox oil leak.
