Everybody was looking forward to the presentation of the NASCAR Canadian Tire NAPA 100 hoping for another victory for Andrew Ranger, winner of the last three races on road course in Mosport, Edmonton and Trois-Rivières.

NAPA 100: Tagliani on pole like in Trois-Rivières…with Andrew Ranger third (+grid)

Rain took a short brake today , just enough to allow the dry presentation of two short qualifying sessions of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Championship. As it was the case in Trois-Rivières two weeks ago, Alexandre Tagliani earned his second consecutive pole position ahead of Kerry Micks and Andrew Ranger.

A large weather system moved into the area at midday, with no relief in sight, and forced the postponement of the Tide 250 at Autodrome St. Eustache. The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 event is set to take the green flag at 2 p.m. ET Sunday afternoon.
