And all of a sudden, Mercedes is favourite

The first impressions of the DTM race weekend at Moscow did not quite speak in favour of Mercedes-Benz.

Audi and BMW dominated proceedings in the two free practice sessions and appeared to be better sorted at Moscow Raceway. But when things gor serious, the brand from Stuttgart was there and secured its first win at the track, opened in 2012, courtesy of Pascal Wehrlein.

The great return to Silverstone

The summer break is over and the World Series by Renault is back!

This September 5 and 6, the competitors in the Renault Sport Trophy, Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 and Formula Renault 3.5 Series return to the track at Silverstone. In second free practice on Saturday morning, the 24 DTM drivers had to deal with highly changeable conditions.

When Martin Tomczyk started the action in the second session at Moscow Raceway at 10.40 hrs (9.40 hrs CET), the sun looked all set to come out on top in the battle against the early morning rain clouds.
