The great return to Silverstone

The summer break is over and the World Series by Renault is back!

This September 5 and 6, the competitors in the Renault Sport Trophy, Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 and Formula Renault 3.5 Series return to the track at Silverstone. The 100% Renault meeting returns to the British circuit and the fans will be treated to a programme featuring eight races and several on track activities, including the Infiniti Red Bull Racing F1 Show and Renault Sport Show. Spengler uses brief dry spell

In second free practice on Saturday morning, the 24 DTM drivers had to deal with highly changeable conditions.

When Martin Tomczyk started the action in the second session at Moscow Raceway at 10.40 hrs (9.40 hrs CET), the sun looked all set to come out on top in the battle against the early morning rain clouds. The wet track dried out fairly quickly and 25 minutes into the session, the first teams decided to switch to rain tyres. (more…)

Castell’s Calabogie comeback

It was a weekend of comebacks from Toyo Tires Formula 1600 driver Amy Castell at Calabogie Motorsport Park.
