Alex Labbé makes the most of a difficult weekend

2016-07-16_138Alex Labbé finished at the Grand Prix of Toronto, round 5 of the 2016 Canadian NASCAR Pinty’s series, on Saturday. The Can-Am/Kappa/Cyclops Gear/Lou’s Barbeque Team had to work very hard after the Ford Fusion no. 32 wrecked in qualifying, working all night to give Labbé a chance to race.

Alex Labbé was on his second, ‘quick’ qualifying lap yesterday when he slid into a tire barrier, damaging the bodywork

2016:07:03_15:00:00_0830 The Dave Jacombs Racing team worked all night to install and decorate a new body on the No. 32 Can-Am/Kappa/Cyclops Gear/Lou’s Barbeque Ford. Despite the enormous efforts, a rear suspension problem during the race and an untimely push on the last restart left Labbé 12th at the finish.
