This year’s Indianapolis 500 winner Ryan Hunter-Reay has signed up for the 2014 Race Of Champions
The 2014 Race Of Champions will feature the winner of this year’s Indianapolis 500 after Ryan Hunter-Reay signed up to compete at the event, to be held at the Bushy Park Circuit in Barbados on December 13-14.
Scott Dixon overtook race leader Mike Conway on Lap 83 of 85 and went on to win the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma.
Dixon, who started third in the No. 9 Target Chip Ganassi Racing car, led Ryan Hunter-Reay across the finish line by 1.1359 seconds. Simon Pagenaud finished third after overtaking Conway, whose No. 20 Fuzzy’s Vodka Ed Carpenter Racing car ran out of fuel with about 350 yards left.
Bourdais wins Toronto Race 1, first since 2007
The Capital Cities duo along with Ontario-native Warmels will perform the standard Grand Marshal duties
Organizers of the 2014 Honda Indy Toronto have announced that Ryan Merchant and Sebu Simonia of Capital Cities and Tim Warmels, the new bachelor for Season 2 of The Bachelor Canada,will serve as the Grand Marshals for the festival, taking place July 18-20.
