The last round of the 2016 GP2 Series was a mixed weekend for the Racing Engineering team

Racing Engineering Saturday’s Sprint Race saw Norman Nato and Jordan King finish 7th and 8th but, with Norman qualifying 5th, the young Frenchman was hoping to finish on the podium but sadly an electrical problem that afflicted him during the race which caused an engine misfire and prevented his DRS from working meant that he lost positions rather than gain any.

Koiranen GP’s Matthew Parry wins Race 1 at the Hungaroring

GP3 - Matthew Parry (Koiranen GP) After posting his best qualifying result earlier today with P2; the Briton went one better after leading from start to finish to pocket his first GP3 race win in dominant fashion. Koiranen GP’s Parry made a good start and maintained a comfortable margin back to Trident and Ferrari Driver Academy’s Antonio Fuoco in second. Arden International’s Jake Dennis achieved his maiden GP3 rostrum in third.

GP3 - Matthew Parry (Koiranen GP) Brit Matthew Parry recorded the best time in Free Practice for Round 4 of the GP3 Series season. The Koiranen GP driver’s quickest laptime was 0.027s quicker than ART Grand Prix’s Nirei Fukuzumi. Fresh from his Haas F1 Team FP1 duties this morning; Charles Leclerc was third.

Albon holds off Leclerc for GP3 victory in Silverstone

ART Grand Prix’s Albon leads home one-two in Race 1

GP3 - Alexander Albon (ART Grand Prix) Thai rookie Alexander Albon had the perfect day in Silverstone: it started with claiming his maiden pole and finished with a fantastic win and fastest lap; his second win of the 2016 GP3 season. Albon has now moved into the lead of the drivers’ standings over his ART Grand Prix teammate Charles Leclerc who battled hard from P7 to finish second, and was hot on Albon’s tail at the end of the race. Trident’s Antonio Fuoco completed the podium.
