Today saw the start of the Ferrari Racing Days event in Istanbul, along with the penultimate European round of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, making its maiden appearance at Turkey’s Istanbul Park circuit.
The prestigious Baku World Challenge forms the final round of the inaugural season of the Blancpain Sprint Series.

The final round of the 2014 European Le Mans Series, the 4 Hours of Estoril, has been won by the No.24 ORECA 03R of Sébastien Loeb Racing, Vincent Capillaire and endurance debutant Jimmy Eriksson giving the team its first win in the Championship and the series its fifth different winner from five races.
Villorba Corse increases the pace in the Blancpain Sprint Series
The Belgian Track of Zolder saw HTP Motorsport-drivers Maximilian Götz and Maximilian Buhk take their third Main Race win of the 2014 Blancpain Sprint Series when they beat their main rivals in the championship, Grasser Racing Team-drivers Jeroen Bleekemolen and Hari Proczyk.
Russian team SMP Racing finished the second free practice session of the day where they left off in the morning – at the top of the LMGTE and GTC time sheets.
There was one interruption during the 90-minute session to retrieve the no67 IMSA Performance MATMUT Porsche which had become beached in the gravel at the final corner.

The SRO Motorsports Group and the Sean Edwards Foundation are both looking for ways to make motor racing safer. In a joint partnership a virtual safety test will be developed to further increase the awareness of amateur and rookie drivers and to help them to achieve the level of racing required.
