Three-year agreement signed to be the official lubricant supplier
Zytek Engineering Limited has signed a three-year agreement with leading high performance and competition lubricants specialist Motul. The Repton-based race engine and chassis manufacturer has named Motul, which has a long history of association with motor sport, as a technical partner and the supplier of its official lubricants. Motul will work closely with Zytek on the development of its engines, supplying oil for its engine test facility, as well as workshop consumables and on-track technical support.
Zytek Motorsport, the supplier for the 2009 Le Mans Series LMP2 team and drivers champions, starts the defence of its titles, as well as challenges for new ones, this weekend at the Paul Ricard HTTT circuit. 
Quifel-ASM Team drivers Oliver Pla and Miguel Amaral have once again taken their Ginetta-Zytek to victory in the LMP2 class of a Le Mans Series round. As during the previous race in Portugal the pair were more than two laps ahead of their nearest rival at the end of the ADAC 1,000km of the Nürburgring. 
Zytek Motorsport plans to cap a highly successful few weeks at this Sunday’s ADAC 1,000km of the Nürburgring. In one month, a Ginetta-Zytek GZ09S has dominated its class in a round of the Le Mans Series; a hybrid version of the GZ09S has claimed the first ever podium place for a hybrid prototype while Zytek Automotive has been revealed as the operation responsible for developing the ground breaking KERS electric motor and power electronics that assisted Lewis Hamilton’s McLaren to a ground-breaking victory in the Hungarian Grand Prix.
